Great menu

Outdoor dining on the Bayou with some pretty sweet boats docked on the pier.

I hear they have good bands play on Weekends (MOJO)

Nice atmosphere

 and a giant screen TV inside in the bar area (football)

I hear one day of the week they have free boiled crabs.

It's off the path of tourists joints.. I can't wait to go back

It's on Heards Lane, just west of it's intersection with 61st Street.   Heards Lane is the first light after you cross Offat's Bayou if you are heading toward the Seawall on 61st.  Turn right on Heard's, and The Blue Hole is just a short distance from 61st, on your right.

 this place is just fabulous. Quiet, nice breeze, outstanding boiled crab and shrimp, atmosphere just says Island time. Warning: The spicy boiled crabs and shrimp are very spicy. Beer is real cold, too.

 Isn't there another "blue" place on the West End?

 It's called the Blue Water Grill in Jamaica Beach.

 hopefully will be on the island the first week in october, or first week in december for dickens on the strand,...love that...

would you all want to meet up either weekend, and what is the best time to be on the island....we have been to dickens onteh strand, and i have not ever in my life thought it could be that cold in galveston....we bout froze to death....had a blast though  would do it again, and again...etc.
