Great pictures, Gordon.  I'm going to  bookmark your sites.  I didnt' get them bookmarked while we were in the old forum, and it wil be gone soon, as Jim just informed us. Like today.

Anyway, with your sites bookmarked, and Drews sites bookmarked, I don't see myself being bothered all that much by the media limitations here, and if you guys favor us by posting links to new stuff, what else do we need?.

Not sure i'm comfortable with that look in Diogee's eyes.

Diogee's mother was an Alaskan Malamute. Papa unknown. He looks more German shepard than anything else.

 How does Diogee cope with the heat and humidity?

We had a german shepherd named Grundel,and his favorite thing was to lie on the linoleum in the kitchen belly down so he could feel the cool.

He's an inside dog and stays close to the A/C. He doesn't like hot or cold.

Like, he is telling us he is the sweetest thing in the world.

 I agree, he is a nice looking dog, but that shot you are referring to looks more like he was caught in escape mode, just climbing right over that fence.

 actually Virgie that is the escape and destroy mode. I enjoyed that pose everytime I'd stop by their house. i think the hooch may have me up there on the pedistal with the postman. he prolly connects me with nervous energy and absence of a master( I would be around when one would be in the hospital).He always wanted me gone... I can't blame him.

He's mellowed out a lot since we moved. I guess that he knew we were in a bad neighborhood, and wanted everyone to know that he was the baddest dude around. Oddly enough, he loved the postlady.

 My first thought when looking at the fence picture is that Diogee was after the homeless person that just vacated that sleeping bag!  Good doggie!

He reacted that way whenever anyone came within 100 feet of his yard.

 Actually, the sleeping bag was mine, from my Terlingua days. I discarded it because it had been stored in the closed and had gotten mildewed. It was kind of sad, knowing that I wouldn't replace it, knowing that I'll probably never go camping again.

 Well at least your sleeping bag got recycled so to speak. Did y'all make forts in your house as kids just to pretend that you were camping? What fun and adventure that was to me in my childhood.

 I don't remember how young I was when my little brother and I started camping out in the back yard. I joined a cub scout Den, a boy scout post and explorer whatever, just for the camping. I wasn't interested in merit badges and the military micky mouse. I camped out on the end of the Texas City Dike before there was a road to it. Before all the granite blocks had been transported in. It was a five mile hike. There was a blue hole at the end.

 Stone's throw from the TX/LA border.  Neither did I until in my wanderings I stumbled across it.  however, relatively new as the reserve was just recently opened back up to the public.

 What photo are we talking about? Please give me a link.
