    I saw this thread and thought I would try a photo and see how they work.

    This fourm format is a little different from what I'm use to.

    How many critters do you have Mel? You sound like me! I miss our doves. Last time I said that I ended up with three new birds, and NONE of them are doves!

    How do I keep from getting the email notice every time I make a post.

    I can't remember to uncheck the little box every time you post.

    Can I fix this in the edit options???

    Click Home tab, click edit profile, click site options, scroll down to enable comments, click no.

    I found a lousy negative of a shot from Texas City a number of years ago which wasn't worth much, but saturated the heck out of the colors for something a bit more cosmic.

    Garage Experiments... Back in the later 80's, I had painted the inside of the old wooden garage where I was living black so I could mess with taken photos with a black backdrop...

    The composition is wonderful. A little more light on the face would have been a tad better for contrast.

    True... It was a fairly quick snap at an antique store in Brenham.  The light was coming from the left and I didn't want to use  a flash.
