Excelsior Condominiums

I've heard the Excelsior Condominiums are a great buy on the Island. I have previewed them and was pleasantly surprised. Their landscaping is beautiful, the condo complex surrounds a large courtyard that makes you feel like you are in New Orleans! I haven't found anything prettier for the price and proximity to UTMB!

Hi everyone. I was wondering if one of you Galveston shutterbugs could please go and take a picture or two of The Reef for me? I stayed there once a couple of years ago and had planned to again last year. I have been wondering how it survived Hurricane Ike.

Does anyone know the status of the Islander East Condominiums? My family stayed there last year and loved being right on the beach even though the place isn't as "updated" as the condos on the seawall. Also, what about the Casa Del Mar and The Victorian on 61st...are they open? Thx!

September 2nd, 2008, this place is being foreclosed on. Overly priced condos, shoddy construction and poor apartment management has finally caught up to them.

Escapes to the Gulf

We will be staying at the fairly new Escapes to the Gulf condos during Labor Day weekend. Any of you islanders have opinions on this place and can help me out? I would be so thankful for your help. I'm really excited about our vacation and love the beach. I'm from Texas but from the more central/west area. Looking forward to some sand and sun. Thanks!

Hi Y'all, We arrive in GAl on July 12th and are staying @ the Ocean Grove condos. Has anybody stayed there? We rented a unit thru VRBO..has anyone done that? Just wondering where we check in as the management co. hasn't told me yet. Also any good eats within walking distance? Thanks Tom from Mass
