I am so happy to see this place rockin and rollin

Great menu

Outdoor dining on the Bayou with some pretty sweet boats docked on the pier.

I hear they have good bands play on Weekends (MOJO)

Nice atmosphere

and a giant screen TV inside in the bar area (football)

I hear one day of the week they have free boiled crabs.

It's off the path of tourists joints.. I can't wait to go back

Update on Downtown:

The Stork Club is open and is a full service bar. Limited menu from breakfast til dinner. Cash Only

Bob's convienance store and liquor store is also open, cash, credit and debit accepted.

Galveston Bookstore due to open in 3 weeks.

Paco's to open in December.

Stage Door and Press club to open "very soon"

Opera House to open in January

Mod to open in January as well

Fitness club adjacent to Mod will not be coming back, nor will the art galleries on the NORTH side of Post Office, between 21-33nd block

Pack and ship to open soon.

Much activity on rebuilding Madrid and Oysters (Oysters to now be run by the Smeccas)

Etc wil be at the Strand Theatre location

Apache to be opening, but elsewhere

Midsummer Night's Books will not be back

Hava Cigar taking online orders, but shop not expected to open until Feb.

I went for my frist time the other day. The hamburgers are good and the prices are even better. I have no idea why I waited so long to try this place. I will defintely be back. It could be a little cleaner but it wasn't too bad.

I went for my first time a couple weeks ago. This place is great. I hate that is up for sale and may close/change.

It looks like it can be slow getting your food, so I wouldn't go here if you are in a rush. The food is great though and the malts are great also. I can't wait to go back here again. I can't believe I haven't heard much about this place before.
