Rain may creep back into the picture next week

A trough expected to develop over the west and move east, combined with deeper Gulf moisture and a cold front, may bring us a chance at some rain by Wednesday or Thursday. Although, rain chances at this point look fairly small, it will be our best shot at rain in quite some time. Moreover, even though the cold front should bring in dry air, the overall forecast trend for the  period from November 5-13,  shows slightly above normal precipitation for our area. So, there may be some hope for those hoping to see some moisture for our suffering vegetation!
