Start your holiday weekend off early with a concert of the Galveston Beach Band Concert Series on Thursday, July 2 at Saengerfest Park, 23rd & Strand. The Galveston Beach Band, led by Frank Incaprera, will perform from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Note: This concert is one night only - the concert series has been postponed until further notice.
Don't forget there is a Fourth of July Parade through downtown Galveston beginning at 10 am and the traditional July 4th Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. from 37th & Seawall. This is a great 25-minute fireworks show. Tip: Guests of The Tremont House can enjoy exclusive viewing of the fireworks from The Rooftop Bar. This is only available to hotel guests and not to the general public due to limited space. By the way, The Rooftop Bar at The Tremont House now has regular hours of operation. The Rooftop is open Thursdays from 4 - 10 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 4 - 11 pm.
On Sunday, July 5, Moody Gardens will feature a David Cook outdoor concert. Tickets are available through Moody Gardens.
