Hi there, and welcome to the all-new "Community at Galveston.com."  Though we're still very much in 'setup/beta' mode, we'd like to offer everyone the ability to start test-driving our new setup now. 

This great new community is quite state-of-the-art, and is actually the same technology that powers monster sites such as MySpace.com and the boards on msnbc.com.  Whether you enjoy discussing issues in our forums; hanging out with like-minded pals in our new themed-groups; sharing photos and videos in our new media section; or enjoying an array of tantalizing local blogs covering music, tourism, food, and more, this great new community's built with YOU in mind. 

Please take a little bit of time to look around, familiarize yourself with the interface, and -

so far so good.  there is a whole lot more than meets the eye.  I intend to try a new direction every day until I am familer with it all.

This ought to be interesting.......hopefully we are all up to the challenge.  Pretty good so far, if it only gets better from here, woohoo! Go Galveston.com  thanks for the new web cams as well.

Hi Tom from the Northeast here.  What happened?  I am a little over a month away from my texas trip and wanted to review all the great info y'all gave me but it's gone.  I guess i'll have to bother you all again.  GO CELTICS
